Tell me an anecdote that happened to you when you were a child. First write a draft of the events in a chronological order. Then, determine the differences of those events in terms of the verbal aspect. See the comparison chart between imperfect and past tense on pages 316 and 317 to understand their differences. Also, try to use connectors to give a chronological sequence to your narration such as, al final (at the end), al principio (at the beginning), al cabo de un mes (a month later), de repente (suddenly), después de una hora (after an hour), después, luego (then) , más tarde (later), en ese momento, instante (at that time, moment), mientras (while+ imperfect), mientras tanto (in the meantime), etc.
